IT Support Request Form
One of the new features found in build 5004 of LANWin is a control option for the IT Support Request Form. If you “turn on” this setting, you can automatically place a shortcut and Icon on the desktop of all of your users – without leaving your desk. This makes the Request form more readily available to “your people”, crafting a more organized approach to how they submit IT Requests, as opposed to the current system of just shouting at the IT guy as he runs by (usually towards the break room).

To make this option even more appealing you can also select the Text description to appear on the desktop, and even the icon. We personally like this one, but there are a number to select from, and you can even use your own company logo, if converted to an Icon format.

Finally, remember that IT Support can be configured to report only to Support, to the SysAdm only, OR to both – it’s completely up to what’s best for your business. Ask LogDev about the auto-deployment of the IT Support Request form to user’s desktop, or try it yourself... it will save you trips to the desktops.
